Emergency & Trauma Centre staff say thanks
Wednesday 14 Oct 2015
$15 million has been raised to redevelop The Alfred’s Emergency & Trauma Centre as a result of your generosity.
To help us say thanks we gathered together some of the staff from the Emergency & Trauma Centre.
The Alfred received their largest ever single gift from the Eva and Les Erdi Humanitarian Charitable Foundation. The appeal itself was launched with a tremendously generous gift from John and Betty Laidlaw and widely supported by thousands of donors throughout the community.
The redevelopment will help us treat more people. It includes a new Rapid Intervention and Treatment Zone, a dedicated area to help give faster initial assessments to our emergency patients.
Your gifts, whether large or small, have contributed towards this remarkable project and for that we are truly grateful.
