Henry Jolson Research Fellowship
Monday 12 Oct 2015
Henry Jolson OAM QC passed away after a long illness on Monday 14 October 2013. He was 66 years of age.
This short and inspirational film was captured at an event he hosted and was attended by his good friend Jim Keayes, the former lead singer of the iconic Australian rock band, The Master’s Apprentice.
Both Henry and Jim were leading the charge to help raise awareness of the incurable blood cancer, multiple myeloma. They were great advocates for the work of Professor Andrew Spencer, Head, Malignant Haematology and Stem Cell Transplantation Service at The Alfred.
To continue his legacy, Henry’s family have continued to raise funds in the hope that The Alfred’s researchers will find a cure for multiple myeloma.
